Our fee structure is divided into two categories: A Sessional category (morning and afternoon) and a Full-time category (all day/part day). All rates are GST inclusive.

Full-time Category:

For the Full-time category, the fees for the 3-5 year old children are based on the child using their 20 hours ECE. Full-time childcare is either all day care (7.30am to 5.30pm) or six hour part-day care (flexible options*).   All full-time children will receive morning and afternoon tea, and lunch supplied by our on-site chef.

Full-time Fees:

*The six hour part-day has some flexibility and has limited places allocated so is at the sole discretion of the Centre Supervisor.

Sessional Category:

Our sessional category is based on two 4½hr sessions; one in the morning (7.30am-12.00pm) and another in the afternoon (1.00pm-5.30pm). You may choose no more than one session per day. If you require all day care please refer to the full-time category.

Sessional Fees:

The rates for 3 to 5 year olds in both the full-time and sessional categories assume that the child is using their 20 hours ECE. Parents must sign a form to confirm that their child is not enrolled elsewhere under the 20 hours ECE scheme.

For children using their 20 hours ECE (3-5 year olds) the session charge is based on an optional $1.11 per hour Quality Education Surcharge for 4½ hours per day, relating to the 20 hours per week ECE only. This charge is necessary to cover the additional costs associated with exceeding the educational standards required under ECE regulations

Late fees

Late fees will be levied where children are not collected by 5.30pm at a rate of $10 per 10 minutes or part there-of (i.e. in increments of $10). However, we understand that on occasion there may be genuine reason for being late for which we will not charge. This will be at the discretion of the centre staff.

Optional Services Available

From time to time, excursions will be organised further afield requiring payment of specific charges to cover transport and/or entry costs. These will be notified to parents on a case by case basis and consent will be sought in each case.

Other services may be added or offered from time to time. Feel free to make suggestions!

Payment/Enrolment Policies

All fees must be paid fortnightly in advance and by automatic payment. Overdue fees will attract a 10% penalty charge. Fees are to be paid for 50 weeks per year. In general, fees are required regardless of illness and family vacation times. However, if you provide one weeks written notice of your childs absence for either illness or holidays (minimum 1 week and a maximum of 3 weeks) than fees/charges will be discounted by 50%.

Late fees and other occasional charges may be paid in cash or by internet banking.

On confirmed enrolment, a deposit of 1 week’s fees/charges must be paid in full and is non-refundable if your child does not start at the centre. The deposit will be refunded at the time your child leaves the centre, less any fees/charges outstanding at that time.

We require three weeks written notice if you wish to terminate or change the permanent booking for your child.

Receipts are issued at the end of the each tax year or as requested.

Work and Income NZ subsides are available for families on low incomes.
